Hi, this is Kevin with Organic Growth.

I’m sharing a video with Emanuel’s How About Some Marketing? audience today. I came across an interesting article on Hacker Noon about what they’re calling Artificial Intelligence Optimization (AIO).

Of course, there’s room to debate whether this is just a new label for an old concept. Essentially, very large brands like Amazon and Walmart have been creating website content for years based on their inventory control databases. That’s what this article is about.

The Most Interesting Parts
One section that stood out discusses placing AI-generated content within the context of modern search engine algorithms and E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness).

Personally, I see E-E-A-T as a content quality framework, not an algorithm per se, but that’s a side discussion. The core argument in the article is that AI-generated content can enhance your website’s authority. I completely agree—if your website provides accurate information about what you do and do not have in stock, that’s beneficial.

A Real-World Example
The article specifically highlights a New Jersey gown distributor who used automated content generation based on their inventory database.

Web pages appeared and disappeared based on current stock.
This led to a 60% reduction in content creation time.
More importantly, it resulted in a 40% decrease in surplus inventory.
Again, large brands like Amazon and Walmart have been doing this for years. But the key takeaway here is that the cost of implementing these AI-driven content strategies is decreasing.

The Role of AI in Content Creation
The article implies that this trend is accelerating due to the proliferation of AI tools. This is an exciting development, especially for smaller retailers and distributors managing a finite set of SKUs.

For those of you in that position, this strategy has real potential. I thought it was worth sharing!
